Limerick and Adare, Ireland

We arrived in Shannon, Ireland yesterday the 11th of June. We were very tired after a long flight, but excited to be in Ireland. It is chilly-around 50 degrees F-and rainy here. It is also very green and hilly.
We rented a car which Andy can drive wonderfully on the wrong side of the road. It's a bit scary, but we've done well so far!
We visited St. John's Castle dated from the 1200s and St. Mary's Church dated from the 800s yesterday (see pics below).
We then stayed in a B & B and fell asleep 7 pm Ireland time and slept till 8 am this morning. The dairy farm B&B was quaint with a tasty breakfast and comfy beds. Today we head South!!

Your dogs miss you... And I burned down the house. On the up side, I don't have to pay rent anymore! Love the pics. Go figure, Andy's eating in his only shot. hope your having as much fun traveling as I am roasting Marshmallows in the rubble.
